2 oz. Sedna Black Currant Liqueur
1 oz. Sedna Vodka
5 raspberries
½ fresh banana
Blend with 1 cup ice.
Just got back from giving a tour and a tasting to a great group of people from Saskatchewan. This year we've had a lot of people from Saskatchewan, more than any other year, they joke and tell us they are visiting the have provinces, lol,.
It's only 1140am and it looks like its going to be a scorcher.
A popular drink here, among staff and tourist alike, is when we mix black currant wine and black currant liqueur with a splash of vodka, very popular quick cocktail.
The Black Currant freeze idea came to me while looking at my iced cappucino(definitely gonna need them today in spades) why not ice it up for a hot summer day(usually a rarity in this part of the world, though this year we are having too many for my liking, just look at me, again digressing from my point).
Back on track, black currant liqueur is extremely popular here, we have a few little ways to use it that I will post over the next few days, so add ice, blend it with fruit, finally a healthy way to enjoy alcohol.
BTW, Black Currants have far more Vitamin C than oranges.
Enjoy!
