Blushing White Sangría

1 oz. Rodrigues Cranberry Wine
1 oz. Rodrigues Apple Schnapps
1 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. lemon-lime soda
2 slices fresh peach
4 pineapple chunks

Build the first three ingredients in a 14-oz. glass over ice.

I was asked the other night what wine goes good with smoked capelin, naturally white wines that are low in acidity are the best for smoked foods.

I hate capelin, ugghh disgusting vile things, I enjoyed catching them when I was young, but I hate fish, with the exception of shellfish, which I enjoy.

Anyways, back to the story, I got to thinking cranberry wine is nice with smoked meats and cheeses as well, too much of a cliche to say turkey all the time.

Enjoy this white/blushing/rose sangria!

Cheers!
