Sedna Vodka Tom Collins

 2 oz.Sedna Vodka
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
¾ oz. simple syrup (Dissolve 1 part sugar in 1 part boiling water. Let cool.)
Club soda to top
Lemon wedge for garnish

Pour the first three ingredients into a Collins glass over ice, and stir well.

Add more ice, and and top with the club soda.

Garnish with the lemon wedge.

I am not a purist when it comes to drinks, I believe that recipes are guidelines and are open to experimentation and play.

Tom Collins is not a drink that I enjoy, I really can't stand gin, its like drinking turpentine, bleech!!

But I do enjoy vodka, so here is a simple twist on one of the classic drinks of the 19th Century, a Comrade Collins if you will.
